‎Favionics in collaboration with Victor Stamov, has developed the "renHook".

renHook stands for Rotary ENcoder Hook and is a revolutionary new towhook for F1A. renHook replaces traditional hook front and latch switches with just a single encoder chip which measures the angle of the hook. depending on angle, the Favionics FX10 timer can determine the current operation of the pilot, selecting straight or circle tow. acceleration is measured dynamically from additional hook rotation caused by the deformation of the front load cell. the back of the hook has a new "circle plus" feature which allows for additional tow rudder when needed.

The main motivation for the renHook design is simplicity. the renHook has basically only 1 moving part (not counting the latch mechanism). the elimination of all switches and gages simplifies the design and opens new possibilities for on line acceleration

ובחזרה לנושא המקורי - מישהו ניסה את הוו החדש של סטאמוב?
נראה מעניין הפיתוח שלו. השאלה היא, כמה זה אמין? ואם זה באמת נותן יתרון משמעותי?

לא נראה לי שמישהו בארץ יכול לתת לך תשובה ...
ובכל זאת ..חוץ משליטה מלאה לגמרי על ההגה כיוון לא נראה שזה נותן איזשהוא יתרון בכלל חוץ מקומפקטיות,בכל מקרה במקום 2 סוויצים או סוויץ וסטרינגי" הוא החליף ל2 חיישנים.

ממה שהצלחתי להבין בוו החדש הזוית של הוו קובעת את מצב ההגה כיוון ,ז"א שאם הטיסן נמצא בסיבוב על החוט וחוט ההטסה נשאר מעט במתח כלומר הוו לא זז לתנועה מקסימאלית אחורה הגה הכיוון גם הוא לא יזוז תנועה מלאה.
לעומת זאת בכל גוף שיש בו הגה כיוון שנשלט ע"י סרוו הוא יודע לזוז ל3 מצבים בלבד עלייה ישרה סיבוב על חוט והאצה .כלומר זיהוי סוויץ לוו קדימה נותן לך הגה כיוון ישר ,זיהוי סוויץ וו אחורה נותן לך הגה כיוון בתנועה מקסימאלית ,אין שום מצב ביניים .


השאלה אם הוו יודע לזהות שינוי מהיר בזוית כגון זה שמתבצע בזריקה...אם כן אז באמת יש לו יתרון עצום :)

F1A flapper SlideHook, during on line acceleration the hook moves backwards for optimum speed when flap is moved up. During tow the flap is in glide position and the SlideHook is forward at a conventional position.
The spring inside the hook is not mounted yet for testing purposes, but its been tested at 10 kg and the servo doesn't even slow down

וואו! נראה שהשקיעו שם הרבה במכניקה.
לא רק הסרוו צריך לעמוד בעומס, אלא כל המתקן, שלא יתפרק בזמן הזריקה.
נראה לא פשוט לביצוע...

איך זה בנוי? יש שרטוט או צילומים יותר איכותיים?
זה מיועד לטיסנים "רגילים"? או רק ל-Flaps?
