I have a serious overheating problem
I use AXI5345 motor with Jeti Spin 99 Opto Brushless ESC
The voltage is static: 31.3 V
The current is static 70 A
The rotation speed is static 5400 RPM

ESC parameters
Timing 24 DEG
Frequency 8 KHz
Temperature Protection 100 Celsius
The ESC is located in the open air flow for best cooling

The problem
After 1 minute, the ESC reaches the temperature of 100 Celsius and reduces power. I need the system to work at least 10 minutes with the above parameters
Jeti spin 99 is rated to 90 A continues and up to 50V

What may be the problem and what is the solution?

Is it on a model that fly in the air or you did the testing on the ground?
where did you check for the right parameters for the ESC?

I wonder if forcing full 2ms PWM to the controller the ESC will stay cooler (please reduce prop size). Care to give this a try, just for the sake of the test?
This way, ESC FET's should be fully open, thus fewer watts will falls on them

Try programming your PWM to 16KHz. The timing for this motor needs to be 22-24 degrees(you already did it). If that doesn't solve it, upgrade your wire size and change any wired harnesses to boards, assuming you are using Deans "Ultra". Lowering any resistance in the power system will improve the esc and motors conversation path. High amperage in conjunction with high resistance reduces the ESC's ability to time the motor through the curve and maintain the switching frequency.

תודה על העזרה. מעבר מ 95% מצערת ל 100% העלה את זמן העבודה ל 2 דקות במקום 1. 16KHז לא ניסיתי.
בכל אופן הבעייה נפתרה בדרך הקלה והיקרה - Jeti spin 200. וזה אמנם תוספת של 250 גרם אבל אינו מתחמם כלל.

סתם עוד רעיון. אם אתה אומר שאתה לא עובר את מגבלות הזרם אפשר לפתוח את השרינק להצמיד צלעות קירור עם משחה טרמית ולארוז מחדש בשרינק. אנ עושה את זה שנים.
