סירה מדהימה למרות היותה איטית טיפה [יחסית], יציבה מאד, מרשימה נראית מעולה על המים , ורואים שקירור המיים עובד שעות נוספות, הכל חזר קפוא.

אני השתמשתי בסיליקון RTV עמיד בחום משתמשים בזה לרכב עתם ראוש מנוע
בנתיים מחזיק הכול
אבל נירא לי שגם תוכל להשתמש בסיליקון רגיל מטמבור

תשובות שענה לי בחור מומחה ב RCG, והשאלות שלי. אפשר ללמוד מזה הרבה ועדיף להתגלח על ניסיון של אחרים. 4S - כנראה צריך מנוע חדש.

Hi Sharon,

1) You're welcome.

2) Yes, most metal props need to be sharpened and balanced; a dull prop will generate a lot of spray, but not much speed, a non-balanced prop can cause severe vibrations that will rip the drive line out of the boat.

3) I'm running my Arpro on a 100A ESC, my son runs his on a 45A ESC, both are watercooled and get luke warm.

I've tried the motor on 4S with a 40 mm two-bladed prop and fried it, so in my experience, no the stock ourtunner won't take 4S.
This is the motor; as you can see, the 1520KV is specified to run on 2-3S Lipo, I wished I had found this info prior to frying one of my motors:

4) the motor draws about 60A max on 3S, with the watercooled 45A ESC that's no problem, but my 100A Mystery also gets warm, and it's watercooled too.

In my experience a 100A ESC has very little headroom to run the stock outrunner without watercooling (or a mini fan blowing on the heatsink, but(!) when running a fan when the ambient temperature is high, which can be the case in Israel, if I'm not mistaken, the cooling will be less efficient and most likely not enough to keep the ESC from overheating).

Having said this; our boats have to run for six minutes and run on a 3300mAh 3s Lipo, this is more than enough to run the six minute heat. a full charge gives us close to 10 minutes of runtime, which tends to heat up both motor and ESC, without an efficient watercooling I wouldn't try it.

I make my own watercoolers, so I can adapt them to fit the various sizes ESC I use.
Basically it's a 6 mm piece of aluminum, drilled accoding to the picture.
Two tubes glued in with loctite and the cross section blocked with a M4 grubscrew:


ETTI also has cooling plates, check if they fit onto your ESC, prior to ordering.

נראה לי שאם המטרה שלנו הינה תחרויות אזי נישאר עם הסטאפ המקורי ורק נחליף פרופ.
אכן יש צורך לאזן את הפרופים, אחרת הביצועים יורדים, המנוע ניזוק, הציר יכול לזוז וגם הסירה נחלשת - כנראה זה מאד מהותי.
אני אקנה מאזן פרופים מקצועי ונאזן לכולם את הפרופים.
