What do you mean by "work"? Work as in both go up ("spoileron mixing") or both go down ("flaperon mixing")?

I am not near a 6EX manual, but I am not sure it is possible....

6EX supports flaperons. See page 20 of the manual.

You need to have the ailerons on channel 1 and channel 6 (i.e. separate)...
