Hi,

If I identify correctly, this is HOF KIRYAT-HAIM, and not HOF SHEMEN. Am I correct?
If this is the case, note that you are flying extremely close to the runway of the Haifa airport (~1KM away), in the middle of the "approaching paths" (map).
Although the airport is inactive in the next few weeks, this might get you into trouble with the local authorities...

Hi Zigi,
I studied the map you've linked - the airport is there! I'm surprised it didn't appear on my videos I recorded that day. BTW, there were two Police cars with running blue strobes - our car was parked 40meters apart but policemen said nothing about 48" wing flying overhead. I have 0.5w 2.4ghz downlink and flew the the plane over industrial zone just for couple minutes , this colorful place just meant for FPV with HD camcorfer onboard

In addition, I should let you know that the airport area is also a military base. Posting photos/videos of that area is strictly illegal. The airport security is very alert - a few months back I was riding my bicycle and stopped for a short break by the fence, "minding my own business" (well, I was actually looking at the nice planes parked there ). Within 2 minutes, a car of the airport security arrived and the ranger asked me about my identity. Anyway, she was nice but kindly asked me to leave, so I don't recommend "playing" with them.
The airport will be re-opened on 1/7/09, and you won't be able to miss the traffic.
We will be happy if you joined us flying in KFAR BIALIK, which is very close (use the terrain/satellite buttons for a better view).

Generally, you shouldn't post photos/videos of "sensible" installations.
One way to check what's allowed, is to go to an approved database (e.g., Walla! maps) and see whether that installation appears in their photographs (by switching to "areal photo" view).
In any case, if you're not sure, simply don't post those shots...

I had a long flight then to my surprise the plane landed without SD card, it just flew away
I put another card but it was too dark

yesterday I tried stand-alone microphone amplifier with built-in RC link quality meter, whenever PPM frames not validated for 1/4 second or longer there are beeps heard via audio channel, also same chip watches throttle channel, if its 20% or higher then audio muted some 15db - this way you can still hear the motor. here is video, note broken link detected at 1:02 and 4:01
