Introduction
3D flying is not my kick but to improve your flying skills one should get one of these.
To be honest I looked first at the known brands but when this model was launched I decided right a way to try it.

Assembly
The Hobbyking Yak54 3D will require some assembly work to have it complete. This KIT was ready with about 5 hours of work
The quality of this KIT is execellent. The instructions manual is one of the best I have seen.

Fuselage

I used hot glue to install the rudder, ailerons and elevator servos instead of the wood frame provided.

Power system

Rctimers 2830-13 850KV Outrunner Brushless Motor
30A ESC
4x HXT900 servos
prop 11x3.8

Watt meter results: 12-13A with ~135Watts.

Flying
One click of trimming was required for this model.
I'm not a 3D master but was able to hoover and do some basic aerobatics very easily.

Conclusion
It looks like a very good 3D model comparing to other brands for a much better price.
I might change the motor or prop to get more power
Overall I'm happy for the great quality of this EPP model, easy build, very clear instructions, nice flying and great price!
