the pistol grip controller ended up in garbage can shortly after 1st flight with the Nunchuck
it's funny you remember the old controller - I haven't used for few months.

I fly with joystick,
to change throttle first I tilt the nunchuck then push button at that moment accelerometer data sampled and held .Same goes with other channels. With combination of keys I can set continues truly proportional accel. channels but holding the nunchuck at fixed angle not practical (almost OK for slow FPV). On receiving end microcontroller is programmed to smooth out noisy accelerometer channels so pan and tilt, throttle and other channels where speed not needed work OK.
