זהו! לאחר דחיות רבות (המתנה לציוד, השתפנות, וכו'), היום העלתי את ה- Quasar לטיסת מבחן.

זהו - טיסת ניסוי של ה- Quasar והפעם הראשונה שאני מטיס טיסן F3A....

אבל מה שעשית למטוס לאחר הטיסת ניסוי היה פשוט מזעזע
ושלא תחשוב שזה לא מתועד!
מילא אוכל נידות, ואפילו על בעילת שפנים עוד הייתי סולח, אבל זה:

כל הכבוד מרק, באמת טיסת ניסוי מרשימה לא רק לטיסן, גם למטיס.

First, this is just to update you that the motor mount (together with the plane it was bolted to and the motor that was bolted to it :-)) maidened yesterday. You can see the post-maidenhead photo here: http://www.efly.co.il/forums/showthread.php?p=242604

I mounted the motor with two washers and will reduce it to one (there was minor but noticeable upthrust).

Thank you for a job tremendously done. The mount performed flawlessly.

I have commissioned a custom motor mount from http://www.smallpartscnc.com for an ancient F3A RC model by Modellflug Technik. Having already come across Terry's work (motor mounts for Multiplex Mentor), I asked him to design and make a motor mount for my plane.

This Terry did, working with only a few photographs and some measurements sent by me (I am located across the ocean from Terry).

It was a pleasure working with Terry - his help and understanding and especially patience were exemplary and allowed me a worry free set up and prep. The mount itself was beautifully done - solid, clean, precise.

I most heartily recommend Terry's work, and will not hesitate turning to him again for additional work.
