assignments in your Hitec Aurora 9 TX. You can double check what is assigned in your Aurora 9 under the config menu and selecting "Channel". It will list Ch1: AILE, Ch2: PITCH... etc.
Plug the cable with power in to channel 1 and plug the next ones in order from how they come out of the connector from the copter control plug, you'll have to look close.
In the OpenPilot CGS software...
Select "Configuration" from the bottom menu
Select "Input" from the left side menu
From the top down select the following for your channels in order
Roll
Pitch
Throttle
Yaw
FlightMode
Accessory0
On your Aurora 9 TX: You'll need to assign a switch to channel 5 and 6. I suggest using a 3 position switch for channel 5, Channel 6 I don't believe is used for anything on Multi-rotors yet.
Run the calibration and continue on your way
Have you figured out the arming problem jquad? I assume you have YAW Right select for your arming option? Keep in mind when you calibrate your inputs it resets the arming option to none.
When you move the sticks around on your radio do they move around correctly in the CGS software?
You calibrated your input settings?
Your endpoints for YAW should be the default 125% in your A9 config.
Thats all I can think of that would prevent you from arming.
